Oven / Stainless steel cleaning instructions.
It is good practice to clean the appliance immediately after use and when cooled sufficiently.
Most substances can be removed with a warm, damp cloth and mild detergent, for more stubborn marks a non-abrasive multi-purpose cream cleaner without added bleach may be used.(eg CIF original cream cleaner). This should be applied with a damp cloth. Heavy duty dirt and grease may require the use of a nylon scouring pad in conjunction with the multi- purpose cleaner. Fingerprints can generally be removed with the help of a glass cleaner or a soap/ water solution.
Cleaning agents contain sodium hypo chlorine (bleach) should not be left in contact with stainless steel as may damage the appearance of the appliance.
Harsh abrasives and scouring materials should not be used for cleaning stainless steel as they can leave scratches in the surface and damage the appearance of the appliance.
If using a nylon scouring pad always clean in the direction of the grain to avoid spoiling the appearance of the appliance.
